The Arcadia GemCoin Jubilee Continues: What was USFIA doing before now? Exactly the same thing - selling promises of amber

GemCoins: Key to the City
Mod: We have been happy and privileged to post the reporting of a blog called Behind MLM - link. It was they who first hung the USFIA/GemCoin albatross firmly around the neck of disreputable Arcadia Councilman John Wuo, and we owe them a large debt of gratitude. But there is another blog that has also focused much of its recent reporting on Peacockville's ponzified GemCoin controversies as well. Called 'A (MLM) Skeptic' (link), they have contributed an informative series of articles on the USFIA / GemCoin situation, and I thought we should post the most recent of their newsy array here. This particular hot little item focuses on the troubled history of this disreputable crew, both in China where they got into beaucoup trouble, and here. For us this offers a look into a world that few amongst us even knew existed until just recently. I know I didn't. The following article describes a world that is certainly different from what we have known around here, and that alone makes for interesting reading.

Other 'A (MLM) Skeptic' articles on USFIA and GemCoin shenanigans:
GemCoin ATMs - all over America? Nah.
USFIA Update: Turns out both the Chinese name and the English name may have been stolen (link)

USFIA Update: Denial in Spain (and fun Spanish Vocabulary) (link)

USFIA Update: GemCoin ATMs (probably not) and warning in Spain about it being unlicensed investment (link)

USFIA Update: Who is this security guard and was he also identified as gemstone appraiser? (link)

USFIA Update: Was in China earlier than previous reported, but definitely originated in the US (link)

USFIA update: Who is Leonard S. Johnson and was he really invited to Dubai to speak about alternative currencies such as Gemcoin? (Hint: No) (link)

Completely Bogus Claims (link)

Mod: The claim that USFIA (AFG) is now worth $50 billion dollars in assets is utter, laughable nonsense. You'd have to be a complete idiot to believe it.

  1. Mayor Wuo knows, GemCoins are backed by amber mine. New billionaires made everyday!

    1. Maybe Sierra Madre could invest in Gemcoins to fund the Platinum Pensions.

    2. The city will need to hire a consultant to handle the transaction.

  2. GemCoins and Calpers - both ponzi schemes

except with Calpers taxpayers are participants whether they want to or not

  3. Can we pay city employee pensions in Gem Coins?

    1. Why not? If it's good enough for Arcadi, who are we to get all special and fussy?

    2. Arcadia is backed by amber mines.

    3. The silly "sausage" analogy regarding the city council by AB blog writer attempts to paint a rosy picture and white washes the Gem Coin fiasco.

    4. Hettrick is Wuo's messenger boy.

  4. People in Arcadia actually bought these things? Really?

    1. People in Arcadia enticed others to buy these things, using Wuo as object of idol worship, i.e. "if Wuo is with us we can do no wrong"

Wuo is now "honorary chairman" of UCCA, which supposedly owns USFIA, which owns Gemcoin. You decide what that means to you.

    2. I think Wuo is an idiot. Crook? Yeah, maybe.

    3. UCCA? I think they meant to call themselves YUCCA.
Frustrating that crooks like these are allowed to operate.

    2. It's not going to happen, 8:00. We came close to getting a new law firm, one that specialized in water issues, but didn't get enough support.
Your only chance is to lobby the council members and see what they say.

    3. It seems that you are the only one that is still talking about it 8:00. There will come a day when the time is right for the council to think about a new city manager. Until then, we have to work with what we have and try and keep Elaine honest.

    4. Elaine is holding things together until John Buchanan comes back.

  6. Mod, notice they didn't claim Gemcoin gew 16xxx times. They said Bitcoin grew 16xxx times (implied that they will do the same).

    2. Good point 11:22. If knowledge of the corruption has reached the Tattler, surely there's an official investigation underway somewhere.

    3. Kasey - Thanks for catching that.

    4. 11:22 - The United Nations and Interpol have been alerted. Extra armed guards have been posted at the amber mines.

    5. Millions of GemCoin investors give thanks.

    6. @11.22 -- supposedly SEC-LA is aware of the situation. But as our authorities do NOT comment on pending investigations, you'll get a "we can neither confirm or deny" reply. So, we don't really know.

@1.52 -- hahahahaha. DR knows who has legal mines there. They watch every last bit of mining there. My sources on DR says Chen may own ONE mine there, but what they really own is an office where they sometimes buy some raw stuff, and they supposedly have a jewel factory on DR, as DR does NOT allow export of raw amber, last I checked.

  7. Here's a little background about that ATM picture...

That was vidcap'ed from a video called "Cajeros ATM GEMCOIN USFIA" uploaded by two Spaniards for "Ambar USFIA Hispano" Youtube Channel

The link they gave was USFIAMLM.com

The same link that Spain outlawed back in May

Wuo's denial rang hollow. I understand Wuo is a politician and attends all these events for PR value, but seems he keeps some unsavory company, doesn't it?

    1. Wuo will be facing a very serious recall threat soon. Outside of the Arcadia Realtors and Hapless Hettrick he has alienated every possible constituency. He has become an embarrassment to many.

      Delete
    2. Wuo has committed the cardinal sin in American politics - he was caught, and instead of doing a Jimmy Swaggart, he lied. Over and out.

      Delete
    3. John Wuo lied and anyone with access to the Internet can easily prove it. There are pages and pages of evidence.

    4. Has anyone reported USFIA to the SEC or the LA County DAs office? Both have financial crimes units covering MLMs and Ponzi schemes. You can probably file an anonymous complaint and cite the articles in Arcadia Weekly and SM Tattler that require proper investigation regarding USFIA and UCCA's relationship with local politicians. Note the same cadre's real estate businesses (Wou & Yang) and ossible influence peddling too.
