Behind MLM: Gem Coin Johnny Wuo accused of ethics violations over USFIA ties

Let's go to the video tape.

Mod: The following article ran July 23rd on the blog Behind MLM. In light of the recent revelations regarding former Arcadia Mayor and current Councilmember John Wuo, along with the growing resident campaign to recall him from office, I thought this would be a good time to post it. Here is a link to this article on the Behind MLM site.

Mod: There are a number of comments attached to this article. The one that I thought asked the best questions was this one:

Mod: We got some nice props in the following article that ran recently on the A MLM Skeptic site - link. It deals with our post on the exploitation of child labor in the mining of amber. Amber, of course, being the venerated substance that backs Gem Coins.

  1. Child Labor in Chiapas?

USFIA must be a borderline criminal syndicate. No way they could be doing business in Chiapas without paying protection to the narco cartels.

    1. She doesn't look all that young. I imagine that she has picked up a vibe or two.
They must be making it worth her while to reign.

    2. She gets to wear amber. It is the dream of all.

  3. The question dealing with Arcadia development and the USFIA and its GemCoin scheme is an interesting one. I suspect there is a heck of a lot more to be made in building McMansions than there is peddling amber from a jumped up Arcadia strip mall.

  4. This is great. Specific, word for word, we're able to watch Wuo dance his way around his own terrible judgement.

  5. Wuo had a defense prepared, I assume over the last two weeks.
That's why he does not really address anything Mr. Bursh said.

    1. He's trying to control the discussion by answering questions he himself poses.

    2. The damn fool is talking too himself.

    3. Let's see how well that tactic works in a real deposition.

    4. Wuo could find himself in a cell adjacent to John Hinkley.

  6. Major Wuo is plain old busted. Wish he'd save everyone time and trouble and resign.

    3. 11:20 - Mayor Wuo attempted to pay Dr. Iyaryi in Gem Coins. Dr. Iyaryi was offended and put a curse on him.

    4. It looks to be a very powerful curse.

  8. It's shame how the mansionization craze has spread all over the SGV. Some of it has spread over to Temple City this year. The funny thing is most of the mansionization in Temple City is done by a company called Signet Design and Construction Management. They done like five houses that I've seen this year.

    Here are a few:
    2812 S Baldwin Ave Arcadia, CA 91007
9706 Olive St, Temple City, CA 91780
9817 Broadway Avenue Temple City, CA 91780

    1. There should be a site devoted to the MacMansion developers. In fact, there probably is something for them on the Dark net.

    1. Did you read yesterday's Tattler article?

Remember, you need to move your eyes from the left to the right.

    2. A daily morning reading of the Tattler is prescribed for those who really want to know what is going on.

    3. 12:55, is that really what you want to say about the topic?
The city leadership of Arcadia is laid bare as a humiliating farce, and you focus on a petty dig at the blog's author?
      Huh.

  10. Our plates are full here in Sierra Madre, so I won't be participating in the Arcadia fight directly, but if I lived there? Y'all better hit the streets and get that information out there. Divide up the town into walkable portions, and get the activists moving.
    This level of chicanery? uh-uh.

    1. As bizarre as Sierra Madre gets, Arcadia gets even weirder.

    2. Not sure about that, 4:25. All Wuo's denials and attempts at message control remind me of Joe Mosca in his prime.
But Joe had the added currency of playing the victim, convincing people that he was being persecuted, that he was really a sweet natured person, all the while making cruel jokes about them behind closed doors.

    3. John Wuo tried to convince people that he was the victim of racism. After the laughter finally subsided he tried a different tactic. Equally hilarious.

  11. Are those verbatim quotes - did Wuo really say "doing the ponzi"?

That's why there's the wonderful juxtaposition of 'All I did was represent the city' with 'I don't even represent the city.'

    4. Doesn 't matter. Wuo has become a laughingstock. And not just around here.
