The Tattler Presents: Dirty Donald's Fabulous Follies

(Mod: You can only wonder what possesses the Orange One sometimes. Unable to rationally explain anything relating to public policy or world affairs, Donald has now been forced to discuss only those things that he actually understands. Much of it being some really creepy sleaze. So it is kind of odd that Donald Trump would want to discuss Bill Clinton's sad sexual affairs when his own are just as bad, or even worse. Much worse. After all, Bill Clinton did have the good sense not to appear in any porn videos. Here is a sampling of articles that have appeared over the last week highlighting these very topics. What goes around really does come around, and will often get you in the end.

Trump Appearance In Porn Movie Found As Miss Universe Attack Totally Backfires (politicususa.com link): Donald Trump told America to check the sex tape, and unfortunately for him, what was found was the Republican candidate for president's appearance in a Playboy adult film.

Donald Trump told America to check the sex tape, and unfortunately for him, what was found was the Republican candidate for president’s appearance in a Playboy adult film. Trump opened up this can of worms with his now infamous 3:20 AM tweet:

Andrew Kaczynski of Buzzfeed went looking for the tape and what he found was Donald Trump in an adult film:

"Trump’s role in the porn is relatively benign and centers around him breaking a bottle of champagne on a Playboy-branded limo while several of the playmates are visiting New York City. BuzzFeed News obtained the footage from the online-only Buffalo, New York–based adult video store Cinema Cornucopia.

Other scenes from the film feature fully nude women posing in sexual positions, dancing naked, touching themselves while naked, touching each other sensually, rubbing honey on themselves, taking a bath, and dressing in costumes."

All of this is self-inflicted. If Donald Trump had not told America to check the sex tape while he launched a late night Twitter attack on a former Miss Universe, his role in a Playboy adult film would probably have never surfaced.

Donald Trump asked for sex tape made by a 17-year old girl (Politico link): In an early morning tweet storm, Donald Trump lashed out at former Miss Universe Alicia Machado Friday, calling her “disgusting” for allegedly appearing in a sex tape.

Machado has starred in risqué reality TV programs and posed nude for the Mexican version of Playboy magazine, the Daily Beast and other outlets that investigated the claim found no evidence that she has starred in any pornographic films and that the clips posted online actually feature another woman.

But Trump’s views on sex tapes seem to be continually evolving, because in his long history in public life, he has taken a variety of stands on such tapes — and on how the women in them should be regarded.

One pattern does emerge: If the woman is a friend, he considers the tape a non-issue at worst. If it’s someone he’s feuding with, then he thinks she has some explaining to do.

In 2009, Trump called on Miss USA runner-up Carrie Prejean to release a sex tape she made at age 17. Prejean, dueling with Trump over her dismissal as Miss USA, had criticized Trump in a book for allegedly sorting contestants in his pageants by how sexually attracted he was to them. She had also recently said she filmed an erotic video for her boyfriend when she was 17, calling it her “biggest mistake.”

In response, Trump told the television show Extra: “She's trying to act like she's a nun... so maybe she should release the sex tape and people would see whether or not she is a nun."

Trump Pressured Second Wife to Pose Nude for Playboy (TalkingPointsMemo.com link): In a totally unexpected development, we learn today that back in the early 90s Donald Trump pressured his then-girlfriend, future wife and futurer ex-wife to pose nude in Playboy. Trump even negotiated a mega payday for the nude photo shoot. In the end, Maples refused. From the early 90s New York Daily News:

"Notably, she did resist Trump's insistence that she accept Playboy magazine's million-dollar centerfold offer. "Trump himself was on the phone negotiating the fee," remembered a top Playboy editor. "He wanted her to do the nude layout. She didn't." ("I'm thankful for my body, but I didn't want to exploit it," Marla offers. "How would I ever be taken seriously?")

Trump Admits He Urged His Mistress To Have An Abortion In Unearthed Audio - Trump wanted Tiffany aborted ... newly unearthed video reveals (Occupy Democrats.com link): In this clip from The Last Word with Laurence O’Donnell, the host brings up some old audio of Trump discussing his then-mistress Marla Maples’ pregnancy – and calls out Trump for obviously wanting her to have an abortion, a fundamental right that he now wants to deny to every woman in America.

Tiffany Trump
In a discussion with obnoxious radio host Howard Stern, Trump admits that he impregnated a woman who told him that she was taking birth control pills. She told him “Darling, I’m so happy, we’re having a child!” His reaction, which is bound to thrill the anti-choice community, was… “uh, excuse me? What are we going to do about this?” Well, see, Mr. Trump, because America is not a backwards draconian theocracy, there are several options that you could have employed to “do” something about “this."

But just two days ago, Trump said that we need to ban abortion and punish the women who have them. It’s a show of outrageous hypocrisy that highlights how Trump sees the world. While he is happy to employ his mistress’s Supreme Court-mandated right to have an abortion should she choose, he has no qualms about abandoning his prior held positions in order to cater to the vapid religious extremists that make up the Republican Party American Taliban.

The incident highlights how critically important choice is to our society. Maples was presented with a choice, and choose she did. Against Trump’s wishes she chose not to abort the child, who grew up to be Tiffany Trump. That was her choice.

But as O’Donnell remarks, “in Donald Trump’s world, no man in America would be able to say to his girlfriend ‘what are we going to do about this’ upon discovering an accidental pregnancy. There would be no legal option other than having a baby.” The idea that he would “punish” women who have dangerously unsafe illegal abortions is just jaw-dropping insult to heinous injury.

Trump Attorney Fires Back After ‘Jane Doe’ Refiles Rape Lawsuit with New Witness (Law News link): Two weeks ago, “Jane Doe” dismissed her rape lawsuit against Donald Trump and convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, but promised to refile. It happened on Friday. She and her attorney brought forward an amended complaint to The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. This one includes a new witness.

The original lawsuit claimed Trump raped the then-13-year-old plaintiff in the 1990s. There was also a second anonymous woman, known as “Tiffany Doe.” She said that Epstein had her pickup teenage girls for his parties. One of these girls was Jane, and Tiffany said she witnessed Trump and Epstein rape the plaintiff several times.

The new complaint adds a third woman. She’s known in court documents as “Joan Doe.”

“In the 1994-95 school year, I was told by the plaintiff in Jane Doe v. Trump and Epstein (1:16-cv-04642, SDNY) that the plaintiff was subject to sexual contact by the Defendants at parties in New York City during the summer of 1994,” her declaration states.

The complaint also builds on the lawsuit’s original defamation claim.

Trump Tax Records Obtained by The Times Reveal He Could Have Avoided Paying Taxes for Nearly Two Decades (New York Times link): Donald J. Trump declared a $916 million loss on his 1995 income tax returns, a tax deduction so substantial it could have allowed him to legally avoid paying any federal income taxes for up to 18 years, records obtained by The New York Times show.

The 1995 tax records, never before disclosed, reveal the extraordinary tax benefits that Mr. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, derived from the financial wreckage he left behind in the early 1990s through mismanagement of three Atlantic City casinos, his ill-fated foray into the airline business and his ill-timed purchase of the Plaza Hotel in Manhattan.

Tax experts hired by The Times to analyze Mr. Trump’s 1995 records said tax rules that are especially advantageous to wealthy filers would have allowed Mr. Trump to use his $916 million loss to cancel out an equivalent amount of taxable income over an 18-year period.

Although Mr. Trump’s taxable income in subsequent years is as yet unknown, a $916 million loss in 1995 would have been large enough to wipe out more than $50 million a year in taxable income over 18 years.

Trump Praised Saudi Arabia's Shariah Law for Making It Easy for Men to Get Divorced (Mother Jones link): In order to avoid admitting to cheating on his wife, Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination 97 times during his divorce proceedings with Ivana Trump in 1990, the Huffington Post reported Friday. So it should come as little surprise that Trump had kind words for a system that allows men to divorce their wives without going to court: Saudi Arabia's Shariah Law.

The Republican presidential candidate praised the Islamic Law, or Shariah, system during a 60-second syndicated daily radio commentary called "Trumped!" that he recorded from 2004 to 2008. In a January 2008 segment, Trump discussed a news story of a Saudi man who had divorced his wife for watching a television show while alone at home because, in Trump's telling, the husband considered it tantamount to being alone with a strange man.

"Men in Saudi Arabia have the authority to divorce their wives without going to the courts," Trump said. "I guess that would also mean they don't need prenuptial agreements. The fact is, no courts, no judges—Saudi Arabia sounds like a very good place to get a divorce."

When it comes to Trump's beliefs about women, Trump's radio vignettes often mirror his own life and his past treatment of and attitudes toward women that are now haunting his campaign.

In recent days, Trump has threatened to begin attacking Hillary Clinton for her husband's infidelities. But it's Trump who has extensive experience with divorce—and it's no wonder he would have preferred the Saudi system. Before finalizing his divorce from his first wife, Ivana, Trump began seeing Marla Maples, who would become his second wife. The divorce required five depositions, during which he repeatedly took the Fifth.

Trump wanted to fire women who weren't pretty enough, say employees at his California golf club (Los Angeles Times link): Donald Trump wanted only the pretty ones, his employees said.

After the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes opened for play in 2005, its world-famous owner didn’t stop by more than a few times a year to visit the course hugging the coast of the Pacific.

When Trump did visit, the club’s managers went on alert. They scheduled the young, thin, pretty women on staff to work the clubhouse restaurant  — because when Trump saw less-attractive women working at his club, according to court records, he wanted them fired.

"I had witnessed Donald Trump tell managers many times while he was visiting the club that restaurant hostesses were 'not pretty enough' and that they should be fired and replaced with more attractive women,” Hayley Strozier, who was director of catering at the club until 2008, said in a sworn declaration.

David Duke Says He and Donald Trump Have the Same Message (Time link): Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke is running for Senate in Louisiana, and he says Donald Trump’s popularity is helping him in the race.

“I love it,” Duke told the LA Times. “The fact that Donald Trump’s doing so well, it proves that I’m winning. I am winning.”

Duke also told the LA Times that Trump’s proposed policies, like building a wall along the border with Mexico and banning Muslims from entering the country, show the country is open to a white power message. “He’s talking about it in a visceral way,” Duke said. “Donald Trump is talking implicitly. I’m talking explicitly.”

Bruce Springsteen Was Criticized For Bashing Trump. His Response Is Perfect (Occupy Democrats.com link): Bruce Springsteen doubled down on his remarks against Trump this week, following controversial comments he made in his interview with Rolling Stone. The rock legend and American icon ripped into the Republican nominee, making it absolutely clear that Springsteen doesn’t care what Trump supporters think about his opinion on the candidate:

    1. There you go again Tattler. You've become a bit unhinged. Hillary Clinton would be far worse for the country. At least anything Trump has done didn't result in people getting killed. She voted for the war in Irag and thousands of Americans were killed. She didn't secure the embassy in Benghazi and four Americans including our Ambassador, lost their lives. Then she tried to cover it up and told the families of two of the victims that the attack was due to a Youtube video despite her having told at least two different people prior, that it was an organized terrorist attack. When the families came forward about what she had told them when they met the coffins coming off the plan, she then lied again about what she had told them. Saying you will vote for Gary Johnson means nothing. This is a binary choice between Clinton and Trump. The question that will be answered by this election is whether a non-professional politician can ever win an election? The Founding Fathers certainly did not envision career politicians running the country. I think most people are tired of the career politicians only caring about staying in power. They are tired of our "public servants" enriching themselves while in office and after they leave office. Look who you're in bed with Tattler. I never thought the Tattler would be carrying water for the "pay to play" Clintons and the mainstream media. The Tattler has gone off the deep end.

    4. The embassy was in Tripoli. Ambassador Stevens and Mr. Smith died of smoke inhalation in a diplomatic compound in Bengazhi. Two security guards were killed by mortar fire on the roof of a CIA complex about a mile away from the "mission" in a later attack. I don't know if it was due to the requests of our intelligence services that HRC said what she did, but it makes sense. No one was saying "CIA" in the aftermath of the attacks. There are books and articles written about Bengazhi. You can read them or speak with basic ignorance about what happened.

  3. A new Fox News national poll suggests Donald Trump suffered real damage in his first debate with Hillary Clinton — not just losing the debate but sliding in some key measures of voter confidence in his ability to serve as president.

Compared to the same poll's results before the debate, Clinton's standing improved relative to Trump's in three important areas: which candidate would best handle the economy, which candidate has the temperament to serve as president, and which candidate is honest and trustworthy.

Before the debate, Fox found 59 percent of likely voters said Clinton had the temperament to serve as president; after the debate, the number went to 67 percent. Trump's temperament number stayed nearly the same, 38 percent before the debate to 37 percent after. Clinton's 21-point pre-debate lead on the question became a 30-point post-debate lead.

Before the debate, 39 percent of Fox respondents said Trump is honest and trustworthy. After the debate, that number fell to 31 percent. Clinton's honest and trustworthy rating remained virtually the same: 34 percent before the debate versus 35 percent after the debate. That's a nine-point net change. Before the debate, more likely voters saw Trump as honest and trustworthy than saw Clinton as honest and trustworthy. Post-debate, it's the other way around.

    3. Donald Trump Tax Records Show Candidate May Have Not Paid Any Taxes for Nearly Two Decades - A huge income tax loss, nearly $1 billion, in 1995 may have allowed Donald Trump not to pay taxes for nearly 20 years.

Documents obtained by the New York Times, show that Trump claimed a tax loss of over $916 million in 1995. The Times said that large a loss, even in a single year, was likely enough to wipe out any income taxes Trump would have normally had to pay for as many as 18 years. Trump, like many very wealthy U.S. citizens, funnels his income and business dealings through a variety of corporate structures. Those arrangements allow Trump to carry losses forward for many years. The Times said Trump may have benefited from the huge 1995 loss as late as 2010, long after he had righted his finances after near bankruptcy in the early 1990s.

Trump’s former accountant told the Times that the nine figure loss was so big it didn’t fit on the tax form. The documents obtained by the Times also show that Trump, who claims he is worth more than $10 billion, made just $6,108 in “wages, salaries and tips” in 1995.

  15. My Election Prediction: Republican Voters Stay Home in Droves. That's what I'm expecting, actually. The more Donald Trump appears, the more unelectable he becomes. This creates a dilemma in the minds of many Republican voters, especially those who are on a more moderate location on the political spectrum. What to do? For many, voting for a Democrat is distasteful, but voting for Trump is becoming more and more unthinkable.

So, they stay home. They sit on their hands. They simply can't face the top of the ballot and the choice to be made there.

How many stay home? That I can't predict. I think it's likely to be 10% or even more. That would be more than enough, really, to ensure a Democratic Senate and a pickup of a number of House seats where races are closer than usual. If more ugly crap comes out about Trump or out of his own mouth, those numbers could go up.

And that's not even counting all of the Republican women who will quietly vote for Hillary in the privacy of the voting booth. I know some of those. They're nodding weakly as the men in their lives excoriate Clinton, but they'll act on their own at the polling place. My 92 year old mother is one of them. My wife's 88 year old mother has already voted for Hillary, by absentee ballot.

    1. I am also proud as an American to pay more taxes than Don. And I'm glad he ripped of so many working people in his bankruptcy schemes. It shows how smart he is and what a great president he'd make.

  27. Isn't it odd how Trump supporters cannot address their darling's many, many failings, which apparently have become the new Republican values, without referring to Hillary.

Mark Cuban offered Trump $5 millions to be interviewed on policy with the stipulation that he not refer to Hillary.

Trump wisely declined for two main reasons: (1) he knows virtually nothing about policy and (2) cannot make himself look good without spouting lies about Hillary.

Oh, and a third reason: (3) He is a bully and like most, if not all, bullies is really a coward, which shows when confronted by someone who doesn't fear him.

  28. People like Trump are the reason there should indeed be transparency regarding taxes.

We have Transparent California showing down to individual workers how much is being spent on salaries. If those individuals have no right to privacy concerning government expenditures to them, why do individuals have privacy rights regarding the amount the government receives from them?

We need full transparency on the federal, state, and local level regarding not only tax expenditures by government, but also the tax receipts of government. Only then will who is and who is not paying their fair share.

  29. I know this was posted a few days ago, but it really is a must read: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/28/books/hitler-ascent-volker-ullrich.html?_r=0

The similarities between the ascendant Reich Chancellor and Trump are astounding and quite frightening.

  31. Trump's campaign people are in contact with Moscow this weekend. Expect alleged rapist Julian Assange to release a lot of forged emails and documents On Weds or Thurs. The 5th Column tea tards will be sitting upright and clapping like trained seals.

  32. Here's another reason not to vote for the Republican candidate: the economy grows more and stock market does better during Democratic presidencies.

Take for example Bill Clinton's presidency, which began with the longest period of economic expansion in U.S. history. As noted by 10:38, though, the business "genius" Trump lost a billion dollars during that expansion.

How in the world do you lose a billion dollars during an economic expansion when you're "cost cutting" by stiffing your workers and contractors and probably using cheap foreign steal?

    1. Yeah but that expansion came at a steep price, hence the Great Recession, which widened the income disparity to the worst it has been since the Great Depression.
      Bush helped make it worse
