Is a Pornographic Local Political Blog Being Authored by an Anthony Portantino Associate?

Is it true, Anthony?
We've discussed the "Mike Gatto Is A Sweet Dude" blog here before. It is about as vile and pornographic a political hit site as you will ever see. If you don't believe me, look it up. Pay special attention to what it says about Sierra Madre. According to the blog's author, you enjoy having sex with farm animals. Yes, you do get what you vote for sometimes.

As you likely know, there was once quite a fierce political rivalry between former California State Assemblyman Mike Gatto and current CA State Senator Anthony Portantino. That has all subsided as Gatto's political fortunes have faded a bit as of late, but the smoldering residue of their rather gruesome political wars remains scattered all over the Internet. The "Sweet Dude" site is definitely a radioactive consequence of that.

Longtime Tattler readers may see some parallels between "Sweet Dude" and the old "Sierra Madre Cumquat." It appears both come from the same political playbook.

The odd thing is Gatto and Portantino are both Democrats. You would think they'd make at least an effort to get along a little. Obviously that is not the case, however. Then again, there are so few viable Republicans in the area, maybe there isn't anyone else left for them to fight with.

A pro-Gatto site called The Burbank Blog (link) posted the following a few months back. I am reposting it here because I think that what it discusses deserves a wider audience, and some frank discussion. The charges made there are both colorfully written and, if true, deeply disturbing.

Do I think Portantino, or someone he is paying to help run his political affairs, is responsible for the "Sweet Dude" site? I have my suspicions, but no actual proof. But having had several opportunities to watch Anthony in action, I will admit that he is a pretty smooth operator. Many people really do buy into his political shtick. His recent visit to Sierra Madre was quite an object lesson in both his political abilities and the ease with which he manipulates the credulous locals drawn to him.

Me? I have come to believe very little of what I hear from almost any local politician. There are few honest and clean ones, though there are certainly some who are better actors. In my opinion Portantino falls into that category.

If what The Burbank Blog is suggesting here is true, then Portantino is just as dirty and morally corrupt as anyone else who has spent far too much time in Sacramento, and not enough punching a real clock for a living.

Here are the charges:

  1. You don't care to listen to AM Radio, but Dj's John & Ken 640am; have the "goods" on these Assembly and Senate members.
It would be beneficial for voters to tune in.
Thank you Moderator for highlighting what is well known by many political insiders.

  2. Big Tony has a earned a well deserved nickname "Pandering Portantino." A long time cigar aficionado, he was a regular fixture at disgraced Pasadena PD Lieutenant Vasken Gourdikian's Blue Smoke Cigar Nights where assault rifle ammunition and high end scotch whiskey were among the illegal gambling prizes and illicit firearms were traded under the table.

  3. I don't know much about this stuff or these idiots but seems that this isn't really about Dems or Reps but about idiots who have evolved to feed off the system. Early on their personalities guided them toward seeking "fame and fortune" by spewing stuff (for better or worse) that gets a rise out of people, and they have become what we call politicians. The entire system is broken, not designed for how it has grown. People like Portantino are bottom feeders, and even when told they are bottom-feeding, think the rest of the world is beneath them. Think Moore, Trump and every similar other. All getting angry because "normal" people who dont have egos to feed, point them out as scum bottom feeders because really, they aren't punching the clock and earning a living the old fashion way, which brings disdain to most of us. 2018 give us something to be happy about.... !!

    1. After being called on it so many times, 8:59 still can't figure out how to use semicolons. He still hasn't figured out that Washington D.C. is the capitol of the US, a place that is the seat of government, not the government itself. And he still hasn't figured out that the federal government is not a branch of government but has branches.

With thinking so muddled, it's no wonder his writing is so imbecilic.

    3. 11:38 You entirely missed the point that it's almost impossible to provide a substantive response to muddled, incoherent writing that contains basic factual errors. Thank you for illustrating to everyone here that a writer's use of the terms "critical thinking and analytic skills" does not demonstrate that that writer actually possesses them.

    1. 1:20 Since you're a stickler for English, why not a complete sentence, rather than a sentence fragment, for your first statement? Do you mean both written AND spoken is acceptable instead of the less clear written and "spoken only?" Perhaps you mean "English only," including written and spoken (and hopefully signed for the hearing impaired.)

Your second statement refers back to the subject of your first statement, so regarding the "all others" of which you write, are you saying that only the English language gets sanctuary and others do not? How does a language get sanctuary?

    3. Failure to take action as in W not bothering to read and/or act on threat reports prior to 9/11?

For example, in 5/2001 the CIA told the White House that “a group presently in the United States” was planning a terrorist operation. Action by W? None.

Another example: In 6/2001, the daily brief reported that al Qaeda strikes could be “imminent.” Action by W? None.

Another example: The 8/2001 report with the big heading “Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.” Action by W? None.

But handed a copy of My Pet Goat on 9/11/2001, W decisively delved deeply into it and refused to put it down even WHILE the USA was under attack.

Is that the type of action you're referring to 6:54?

I can't wait for your future analysis after Trump completes his sell out of the US to Russia. You'll blame Obama and H Clinton. You don't really care about facts; you just want to blame it on Democrats who are smarter than you.
