Donald Trump’s Biggest Issue With Jan. 6 Is That Nobody Is Talking About His Rally’s Crowd Size

Mod: He's mentally blowing in the wind. You know that, right?

Trump’s Biggest Issue With Jan. 6 Is That Nobody Is Talking About His Rally’s Crowd Size (Rolling Stone link): Hundreds of former President Trump’s supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, breaking into Congress in a violent attempt to overthrow democracy that resulted in five deaths, dozens of injuries, and an untold number of questions about how it was allowed to happen, how to hold those responsible to account, and how to contend with the growing thirst for violence among the American right.

Trump has a question about Jan. 6, too: Why is no one talking about his crowd size at the rally that preceded the riot?

“It was a massive rally, with hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people. I think it was the largest crowd I’ve even spoken in front of before,” Trump told British conservative Nigel Farage in an interview broadcast on Wednesday, adding (falsely) that the real insurrection took place on Election Day.

“If you would have looked at the crowds, nobody wants to talk about that,” he continued. “I believe it was the biggest and most people — and I’ve spoken to very big crowds — I have never spoken in front of a crowd that size. Nobody ever talks about that.”

“Then, unfortunately, some bad things happened,” Trump added. Farage’s original question was whether it was a mistake to hold a rally on Jan. 6.

Trump
’s interview with Farage is yet another disturbing look into the psychology of the former president, for whom the deadly riot at the Capitol is merely an aside to the numbers he drew at the rally that started earlier that day.

The former president also pushed the ludicrous claim that the attack on the Capitol was driven by members of Antifa — rather than his own supporters. “Antifa. Bad. Very bad,” Trump told Farage. “They had Antifa in that rally. They had Antifa leading a lot of people on that day in January. It’s pretty incredible that nothing happens to them.”

A Trump-loving former KKK leader who was jailed for beating a Black man is running for office as a Republican in Georgia, report says.
    More like 'chester the molester'.

Chester Doles, a former leader of the Ku Klux Klan and the neo-Nazi National Alliance, is running for office as a Republican in Georgia, per The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Doles, who spent decades in the KKK, including as Maryland's Grand Klaliff, filed paperwork earlier this year to run for a spot on the Lumpkin County Board of Commissioners in 2022, the paper reported.
He served four years in prison in 1993 after being convicted on federal charges related to the beating of a Black man in Maryland. In 2003, he was arrested on federal firearms charges and spent four more years in prison.

The discovery comes about seven days after the Blount County Sheriff’s Office reported finding as many as 450 missing FedEx packages in a ravine, McClatchy News reported.

Blount County investigators believe one driver visited the same spot at least six times to dump packages, according to a Nov. 30 news release. FedEx security personnel have identified and questioned the driver, officials said.

A U.S. magistrate in Reno ordered Josiah Kenyon of Winnemucca to remain jailed there Friday without bail until he's transported to Washington to face the charges. Sidney Powell filed false incorporation papers for non-profit, grand jury finds.
In the incorporation papers, Powell – who filed lawsuits across the US questioning the 2020 election result which Trump lost to Joe Biden – listed two men whom she said served with her on the organization’s board of directors, even though neither one of them gave Powell permission to do so.
The federal investigators are also trying to determine whether Powell diverted money from DTR for her own personal use.

  8. Trump-Aligned Lawyers’ Election Lawsuit Was So Ridiculous a Judge Is Making Them Pay For It.
A federal judge on Thursday ordered a group of nine attorneys to pay about $175,000 in legal fees for starting a lawsuit to try to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in Michigan. Sidney Powell, who was part of Trump’s “elite strike force” of election lawyers, and Lin Wood, the conspiracy theorist and former Trump attorney currently in the midst of a very public bridge-burning meltdown, are among them.

  9. This just proves Communist China does not play nice with others and uses a double standard in imposing communist dogma on others inside their walled off country.
U.S. appeals court will not block China Telecom revocation order.

Communist China Telecom, which has been authorized for 20 years to provide telecommunications services in the United States, had more than 335 million subscribers worldwide in 2019. It also provides services to Communist Chinese government facilities in the United States and warned the FCC action would force it "to end its entire resold mobile resale service in the U.S."

In March, the FCC began efforts to revoke the authorization for Communist China Unicom Americas, Pacific Networks and its wholly owned subsidiary ComNet to provide U.S. telecommunications services.

In May 2019, the FCC voted to deny state-owned Communist Chinese telecom firm China Mobile Ltd the right to provide U.S. services.

Last year, the FCC designated Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and ZTE Corp as national Communist security threats to communications networks.

  11. Proud Boys members and other right-wing groups based in Utah are holding an armed 'Kyle Rittenhouse Appreciation' rally.

Proud Boys members are planning an armed "Kyle Rittenhouse Appreciation" rally in Utah on Saturday afternoon, the Salt Lake Tribune reported.

The "Stand Up For Your Constitutional Rights" event —which is being held at Washington Square Park in Salt Lake City between noon and 2 p.m. — is also co-sponsored by other right-wing militia groups in the area, according to the report.

A flyer of the event obtained by the outlet tells attendees to " bring banners, 2A flags and freedom flags" and to celebrate "your rights to DEFEND YOUR CITIES."

Hot chocolate and desserts will be available, according to the flyer.

The far-right Proud Boys are designated as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and members were among the pro-Trump mob that stormed the US Capitol building on January 6.

  15. How the morally stupid float to the top in a republican tu_d tank.
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson commissioned data on masks but didn't release it after it showed they were effective.
"He handpicked information from a Sunshine request then took the data out of context in order to fit his narrative. "This type of 'so called' reporting is unethical and needs to stop because it misleads the public and poses a danger to the credibility of our institutions."
